Thought of the day...

Dude...Subway Sucks...

A few years ago I offered to stop at Subway for lunch with my Dad...His response was:

"No...I Hate Subway...All their subs taste the same."

He couldn't be more right...

So in laziness today (since it's across the street) I ordered a Club... The guy placed like 4 slices of turkey, and 4 slices of roast beef and then two slices of Ham on a foot long sub...come on man...help a brother out here...2 slices...So I question him and he says they make them per the guidelines...hmmm...Weren't these guys advertised as "Sandwich Artists" not that long ago... I can't stand food places that serve shit...Ever eat one of those new steak sandwiches at Dunkin Donuts...Come on...you have got to be kidding me...I want to sit Mr. Dunkin Donuts down and make him eat one of those..."Come on you ass...Enjoy every bite of this so-called sandwich you serve!" Do these people even taste this shit??!?!

My Fast food breakdown in case you care:

Mcdonalds:

Burgers give me stomach aches and gas...The Fries are really good when fresh...You can always count on the soda being a good mix...The chicken is par but the McChicken sandwich is a steal for a buck...the McGriddles are like microwave pizza...Great idea at first but never live up to the expectation...I do like the big breakfast but I think that goes back to being a short child and feeling good about eating the "BIG" Breakfast...

Burger King:

Now this place has it's shit together...Burgers are decent...the Chicken sandwich could win awards...the fish is umm...err..Has anyone ever ordered the fish??? The fries used to stand up against the McDonald's ones but then about 1994 give or take a year they changed em...Now they taste like bugles...ugh...the sausage egg and cheese croisandwich is awesome...I hear they have this new fatty super breakfast sandwich that's pissing folks off and to be honest that pleases me...Seriously if a place wants to sell a burger with cyanide in it that's cool with me...YOU DON'T HAVE TO BUY IT!...

Taco Bell:

Oh taco bell...you have a special place in my heart...Notorious for some of the worst service ever...also the worst soda mix ever...I can honestly say I've never had a good soda there...yet I will never turn down a trip to the Bach Hotel...Where else can you spend $3.00 and feel like shit for 2 hours afterwords...I've had so many 2am trips to TB I can't count...Our local one has this kid that busts your balls at the drive in after like 1am...I tipped him one night cause he's great and my girlfriend said he took it as flirting...you know what I said..."Sweet Free Taco Bell!". Then they started opening these Kentaco Huts...man I thought it as a great idea..."Yes I'll have 2 soft taco supremes, 1 extra crispy drumstick, and one order of breadsticks"...I should have said "Yes I'm a fucking idiot who wants to exchange 8 bucks for guaranteed diahrea"...woof...

D'Angelos:

um err..I've eaten there like 50 times and I've only ordered the Number 9 which is a great sandwich...

Wendy's:

A solid establishment...around here they seem to only employ non-americans and one extremely dorky white manager so ordering can be a pain...but the food is very good...the chili is outstanding...the 99 cent burgers are a steal...the baked potato's keep the ladies happy and the biggie coke is great...also the frosties are ok...for some reason chicks love to dip their french fries in them?...haven't figured that out yet...

Jack in the Box:

A.K.A. Jack in the Crack...I live in the east...no Jack out here...but you midwestern and beyond know what I'm talking about...this place is so friggin awesome that Fred and I called and asked about new locations and when they are expecting to move eastward...When they show up, and they will, greet Jack with open loving arms...I once bought jack in the box, drove to the airport, flew from AZ to CT and drove to Fred's house and gave it to him...I think the mayo freaked him out but I think he kept it in his fridge for a few weeks...

In and Out Burger:

Another west coast gem...made famous to me by the big lebowski...I was in California for work and I stopped there...I tried to buy a uniform but the manager was not into my story...oh well GREAT FRIGGIN BURGER...

Checkers\Chik-fil-a\Whataburger\Sonic:

More west coast wonders...man is it me or is all the cool shit in California...I've been to them all and the sheer fact that I've never eaten there made it great so I am biased...

Roy Rogers/ARBY's/Dutchess/Popeyes:

I'm not sure why but I consider these to be the minor leagues...they always seem to have the worst employees and the worst patrons...I avoid these places at all costs...and if I'm not mistaken Dutchess has a liver sandwich...Fuck that!

Oh well 5:30pm...time to go...
